Dev’s Laboratory – Battle Report 8

Dev’s Laboratory is the event where you can decide “the configuration of both sides of a battle”, and the ROK team will carry out this battle with the settings you chose, and then share a detailed analysis of the battle report and the results with you to use as a reference. Now, it’s time for today’s battle report and analysis from 2 players.

Configurations:

Blue: Kanoa + Eritra; Skills: Archer Attack + Archer Defense + Volley; 100K Shieldmen + 200K Rear Units.

Red: Gideon + the Faceless Knight; Skills: Infantry Attack + Infantry Defense + Pike Wall; 100K Shieldmen + 200K Rear Units

Group Analysis:

The blue group used the most powerful archer team in the current version, to fight against the red Gideon and the Faceless Knight. For attributes, there was a gap between the attack of the rear units of both sides, but the red shieldmen have much higher bonus than the blue ones, thus resulting in a higher power level.

Skill Analysis:

The 2 gold heroes in the blue group grant damage bonus for the archers, e.g. Eritria’s skill that deals extra damage by percentage. The red Gideon and the Faceless Knight increase infantry’s attributes almost to the level of the crossbowmen in the blue group.

The blue group, with their Volley skill, increases the archers’ attack and the archers’ chance of triggering Stunning Accuracy to attack the spearmen directly, while the red group didn’t utilize the full strength of their Pike Wall skill.

Summary:

From the battle report, though the archers won, they suffered fatal losses in the process, sacrificing 75K to slaughter 130K enemies. The low attributes of the front row of archers might account for the stunning losses. Thing went from bad to worse when they confronted the 300K infantry troops with bonuses. However, despite such grievous losses in the front row, their high attack wasn’t affected at all, which is why they had such high fighting strength.
