Dev’s Laboratory is the event where you can decide “the configuration of both sides of a battle”, and the ROK team will carry out this battle with the settings you chose, and then share a detailed analysis of the battle report and the results with you to use as a reference. Now, it’s time for today’s battle report and analysis from 2 players.
Configuration:
Red: Dolen + Bige; Skills: Cavalry Attack + Cavalry Defense + Rush Attack; 100K Shieldmen + 200K Rear Units
Blue: Gideon + Rin’in; Skills: Infantry Attack + Infantry Defense + Pike Wall; 100K Shieldmen + 200K Rear Units.
Group Analysis:
Both sides have a pair of gold quality heroes. Since Rin’in, Dolen and Bige’s skills are not restricted to any troop type, they can be utilized with a high level of flexibility. On the blue side, Gideon increases attack and Rin’in increases defense, while on the red side, Dolen increases attack and Bige increases defense.
Skill Analysis:
Rin’in’s skill increases defense and HP for all troops, while Dolen’s skill increases attack for all troops. However, since both heroes’ skills apply to all troop types, they can only provide a small increase to their attributes. Gideon is an extremely powerful Infantry hero, with his Battle Hymn increasing Shieldmen’s chance of dodging incoming attacks by 10%, and increasing the damage dealt by Spearmen by 35%. Infantry, however, belongs among melee troops, and Bige’s Spiritual Possession allows him to dodge the opponent’s attack.
Summary:
Looking at the battle report, we can see that the Cavalry troops were completely decimated, while the Spearmen, the main force in the Infantry dispatch, came out unscathed. It is evident that the counter relationships in the new battle logic played a significant role during this battle. Combined with Spearman attributes, Pike Wall could easily reach beyond the front line, and dealt damage to the Cavalry troops in the rear. Since Charge doesn’t affect Spearmen, Cavalry’s Rush Attack couldn’t live up to its potential, resulting in the Cavalry’s defeat.
